A fun filled page for kids and adults alike! Keep in touch with what Mousey and his friends are up to, what Mousey likes doing as well as where you can meet him
Mousey and all of his friends help out around the shelter and raise awareness on all kinds of issues related to animals in the Northern Territory. Every week during the dry season Mousey and his entourage pack up and head over to the markets to meet and greet people in the community. They also love to show off their tricks for donations, which go towards helping the homeless pets.
You can see Mousey and his mates at the Mindil Beach markets on Thursdays, and also at the Palmerston Markets on Fridays. Mousey also goes along to educational or school visits to teach children the importance of caring for animals, keep an eye out he might just visit a school near you!

Make Homemade Bacon Rolls for your best mate
Mouseys Favorite Dog Treats!
2 cups of flour
1 ½ cups of oil
Beef stock to bind
150gms fresh bacon bits
Mix flour and oil, add beef stock as needed. Roll out into a thin pastry dough. Cut into 5cm squares
Fill with bacon bits and roll. Bake in the oven at 180C degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool and feed them as treats to your mate, but don’t overdo them!
